Critic's Choice at The Rochester Fringe Festival, Erik and The Wolf is the praised third live effort of The Hnossa Project. A young soldier learns of love and change at the hands of a mysterious young woman and a wood of ancient spirits.

"Creation Myth"

The "Creation Myth" is a an entirely original work and a prequel to "The Spring Piece". It tells the story of the creation of the world Golloka on which "The Spring Piece" is set to take place. It wove the drama of Golloka's creation and the spawning of the universe through looped vocals, song, spoken word and movement.

A retelling of the Scandanavian Myth of Freya's wandering and the loss and search for her husband, Odur. The myth was told as a one man storytelling set through movement, layered vocals, spoken word, folk song and traditional text. A sample of this performance can be viewed here.

"Shadow of The Crucifixion"

Commissioned by City Grace Church in 2011. "The Shadow of The Crucifixion" was performed within the frame of a traditional Tenebrae Service. It used gregorian chant as a leaping off point and fused looped text and song in latin, hebrew, swedish and english from the book of Matthew and Psalm 22.

A vocal composition exploring romantic love, it used original prose and poetry as well as John Donne, Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis and The Song of Solomon. It was well received at The Stella Adler Studio and was requested for performances at both City Grace and Neighborhood Church.
